I'm kinda feeling a bit slammed right now but I have almost made it through this crazy busy week and I do feel MUCH better than I did yesterday!!! Tuesday we had super kids day at school which is basically a day of fun and games at the football field for the kids and this momma got there at 8am and left at 2:45 with a sunburn that I didn't bring with me! Now it wasn't a bad sunburn at all, actually most people thought I just got a tan but no it was painful and red and it came with a headache and some crazy exhaustion! Thankfully this morning I woke up tan and feeling all the good. I had Kaleb and Luke's awards assembly this morning and Kaleb's graduation from the 5th grade into middle school than a farewell 5th grade party. The plan was for me to get groceries and have a late lunch with Chantry after all that buuuut the thought of grocery shopping just didn't appeal to me so I ended up just coming home to get a little work done before ball practice and 8th grade graduation tonight. I don't have an 8th grader but Holden was chosen to be an usher so I'll be there. :) Tomorrow Gabe and Gracie will graduate from kindergarten and then it'll officially be summer in the Scott house!! That being said I'll be taking next week off for a little r&r, regrouping, brainstorming, relaxing break! I normally update my facebook daily...ok a couple times a day but next week I won't be updating there at all. I will be posting on here though and hopefully by next Friday I will be up to date and maybe even a little ahead of myself! :0)
Goodness I sure did get off subject there! Ok when I said "slammed" I was referring to the slam session that I blogged about a week or so ago. A slam session that me and my good buddy Jessica with Two Sticks Photography did of Levi and Taylor a session that was a BLAST!!!! Me and Jessica turned the cameras on each other a little to capture some of the fun and some of the "business" of the day. These sessions are an awesome way to not only capture part of your senior year but I can guarantee there'll be memories made! We offer these sessions for up to 3 people which totally helps pull even the shyest sr. out of their shell so we can capture their true self without stiffness! Don't just make pictures on your senior shoot, make memories!!! For more info you can either get with me or Jessica!!!
******Please take note that all images that are not watermarked were taken by Jessica and are copyright Two Sticks Photography!!!!
This horse sings!!!! Okay maybe he just tries to sing! hehe
Jessica super hard at work!!!!
This is an unhappy client, if you act like this in front of the camera then please take note that you're gonna have to turn that frown upside down for us!!!! ;0)
This is a golden eagle.....yeah we attract all kinds!
Don't be hatin' on my ponytail kthnx! This is serious work! hahaha
Again I'm just noticing my ponytail here.....note to self: carry a brush for goodness sakes!!!!
Okay now this picture below would normally NEVER be allowed to be seen but me being the good sport that I am will post it, mostly so everyone can have a good laugh on this Thursday but let me just explain what happened first.....ya see there's this little pond that we were headed down to and I was planning on shooting from across the water soooo with my camera and light meter around my neck I start down to the spot I think would be good to shoot from. Welllll, we hadn't gotten any rain in so long I figured the ground would be pretty dry and it looked dry, the first step I took near the water the ground was actually cracked so I'm sure you can only imagine how surprised I was when my feet started sinking like quick sand and my gear in hand. I was just lucky that I had a good friend there to help out.....when I say "help out" what I mean is she stood on the bank and laughed and took pictures of me!!! But I'm a good sport so here ya go....I'm just glad she didn't get me on the ground with my hand out stretched for help!!! lol
